friendship

I laughed out loud when I first saw this cartoon. The face expression for the hippo and the cow is priceless, with the rhino looked annoyed and the cow looked satisfied eheh

The moral of the cartoon is self explanatory, but what I’m trying to highlight is just the importance of choosing a friend. I believe that we have to be very selfish when it comes to choosing friends. There are millions of people around the globe, Millions! We can’t be friend to all of them now, can we? So how do i choose my friends?

  • Support me when I’m down
  • Smile for me when I’m up there

You turn to your family for unconditional love. You turn to your spouse for companionship and support. Imagine having 10-20 people who cares for you sincerely (love), accompany you when you needed them the most, for example when you are crying at your mother’s funeral (companionship) and offering help when you hit rock bottom (support). Now those are your true friends Please appreciate them with the same manner they appreciated you. You’ll do fine.

So how do you choose your friends? Do share ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually lost contact with one of my best friend. His name is Nur Syikri Harun. Anybody know him, do let me know. After SPM he continue his study in Mesir and that’s when we started lost contact. During our schooling, just as every normal kids with raging hormons, we started flirting with girls hehe. Must be very traumatic for them, I mean the girls. In short, Syikri had a crush on one girl, and I had helped him approach the girl. Back then I was a cupid haha. The last thing I heard about Syikri is that he actually married the same girl. He sure owe me big time.

CEO

“HAHAHA I am the CEO of this company!!! I have ultimate power on my low level worker…I’m the most important person in this company, and without me… the company will go down the drain”.

Have you ever met anyone so arrogant being the boss or working in high position in a company. Well I have… Not my current manager obviously. It occured to me. Comparing the CEO of a company and the general cleaners of the company, who would be more important? The answer to this is simply by having them take a month off.

If the CEO of the company take a month off from working, can the company manage to survive and operate normally. I believe it can because there are so many people willing to take control the CEO’s power and do his work.

If the general cleaners of the company (any company) take a month off, what do you think will happen to the company? Rubbish left uncleared, stale fried rice still left at the waste basket, the toilet is unbelievably smelly. Can everyone do their work efficiently? Is there any people willing to do the cleaner’s job? I can guarantee you that they can’t even stand one week

So any of you guys have experience the no cleaner scenario? or no CEO scenario. Do share. let’s decide… who’s more important?

Again I appreciated all of you who frequent this humble blog. I admit, I’m not much of a designer. I guess it’s genetic. When I was a child, 5 to 6 years old, my parents did send me to a drawing class. The class is actually for Form 5 students. Did I tell you the art teacher is a friend of my parents. So we were supposed to draw some vegetables. Everyone was given one. When the class is over, everyone finished their work except for me. I am so into the details that I even draw every hairline and leaves exactly like it is. Spending all that time and still not a good piece. I persuaded my parents to give me other hobby to start ๐Ÿ™‚ Good ol times

ย This is the third part of How To Make Decision Series. You may want to check Part 1 and Part 2

What? You end up getting the same point using the tool described before? hehe don’t panic. It happens all the time. It actually shows that both choice is actually of the same importance and meaning to you. Either path you took will not be the wrong one. But the problem now is our mind. We can’t just let it all go. That’s where the final steps come in.

5) Solat Istikharah

I’m afraid this option is only for the muslim friends. I’m not going into details on how to perform the solat butย on how actually the solat will help us.

  • First, we must know what we really want. We have done our homework and know that both option simply of the same importance. We know that whatever we choose, it is already the best decision made. What concern us now is how will the future be if we decide on A. The truth is, we will never know. So speak to Him in your doa. Ask Him to help you now. Preferably youspeak to Him out loud. Then only it will trigger your subconcious mind to chip in.
  • Perform the Solat with all concentration (khusyuk) you can give Him. Don’t think about your problem just yet. That will not go anywhere, it will still be there when you are done.
  • Allah will not answer your question like a Forum Perdana. Sometime He will give you clarity and courage to decide. Sometime you will still be indecisive but everythings turns out OK. Just believe that if you pray for Him whole heartly, everything will be taken care of.
  • Last but not least, Tawakal. (The act of doing everything withinyour power and leave the rest to Allah). There’s just something well outside our power, and it will be waste of energy to worry about it. (“Buang Karan” eheh). An example would be, our sun goes supernova. We just can’t do anything, maybe go to another planet. Other than that, why worry now? ๐Ÿ™‚
