For readers who were actually following my quest for Wimax, it is with great pleasure for me to announce that Alor Setar in Kedah is now covered by wimax. This is good news for me because I am a Kedahan. The bad news is that I am currently not working in Kedah. Well, at least, whenever I go back home to Kedah, I know for certain that it is now covered.
For the benefit of everyone reading (who is interested), I’m going to update the wimax coverage here in this post. Since I always visited the site checking for new coverage, I might as well put up a post to update it here. (Last Updated on 12/12/08)

i think not all area in shah alam has wimax coverage… i’m staying a section 16 of shah alam but the red LED keeps blinking.. i tried moving around my room with the modem, managed to connect but the red LED is always on meaning that the coverage signal is weak.. i borrowed this wimax from my friend who lives in section 18 and there, the signal is excellent based on the green light.. i’m just trying out before i subscribe but thank god i havent.. just need to wait until my area has coverage.. i wonder if there’s coverage at vista angkasa apartment near Universiti LRT.. my girlfriend wanted celcom broadband but i told her to try wimax instead.. but i’m not sure if that area has coverage.. keep me updated plz… thanks a billion!!
LoveHateTragedy – Unfortunately the new website is a bit confusing from the last time. Now it is no more listing the location of new covered area. I will try however to make sense of it 🙂

and im sure,you’ll feel the same as im feeling, disatisfied with the coverage..
red led keep on blinking eventho im in the coverage area :/
Pissed-Off – I totally agree with you. They should have revert back to the old days of listing the covered area. Very confusing indeed.
