Summary – Commitment is like “Bara Api”I guess it’s very true what our Prophet Muhammad said before. Generally translated as “Holding on to a commitment is like holding a burning-red stone (bara api)” The pain is not on the holding the stone, but on the time we can hold the stone.Hundreds of examples can be picked from Ramadhan, but the truth is.. thousands more can be seen from our everyday’s life.

  • Exam week – any seconds pass by we are reminded automatically to grab a book and study, but when the exam is over, the sight of book itself is demoralizing (good ol times hehe)
  • When the Department of Environment is coming the next week, I am able to work non-stop preparing all the documentation, and oversee the mill compliance (And not for just one day, for the whole one week…) but when nobody’s coming.. heh 🙂

So how do you hold on to that burning stone? Here’s a few ideas

Summary – How “Puasa Enam” helps
It turns out, I’m not the only person who is sick after Raya (Duh). Bro Ahmad and Gina were also down with some sort of sickness just after Raya. And I’m sure many of us are just the same.Now, isn’t fasting supposed to be “Menyihatkan”? Definitely! I am at my healthiest state during Ramadhan. Especially this year when the mrs is not that well from pregnancy, so we were eating very healthy food and only went out for Bazar Ramadhan once a week. Very healthy… Alhamdulillah.

I think most of us know the cause of this nationwide illness. It’s the over-consumption (Sumbat) of food during Hari Raya, don’t you agree? During that day, we usually will eat “slightly” more than our average.

But I’m not going to write about this… It’s on how Islam had offer the solution for this 🙂

It all started just a couple of months ago, when I started the blog Immortal Wisdom. Basically, nothing changed in term of concept. LessonInLife.com will still carry out the same commitment as a platform for all friends visitting to share their wisdom, experience and lesson learnt.

Anything New?

  • Well LessonInLife.com is now self hosted, so technically.. people from Malaysia will have faster access to the blog.
  • Search engine has been improved. You can now search for any keywords from my previous post.
  • Basically all features and layout were maintained.
